Song of the day is the New York rap crew, Lost Boyz. With head emcee, Mr. Cheeks and one of the best hypeman's in hip hop history with Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou rounded out the crew. Their debut album, Legal Drug Money which is recognized as a classic by some and an instrumental New York album featured the hit single. The 90s New York rap style of the track shows how good hip hop was. Mr. Cheeks' flow here assisted by Tah's ad libs make the track essential and important in depicting the golden age of rap. The party vibe, sophisticated flows and solid lyricism show why the Lost Boyz were so important to the rap game and why Freaky Tah will forever be missed (R.I.P.).
