Overall: Lyrically its nothing new from New Orleans vet, B.G. Evident from the album title, he keeps it straight hood and intends to do so in the future. With a large catalog, his eleventh album (!) shows how long he's been in the business. There is a Hot Boys reunion track here, spare incarcerated member Turk, and numerous street/club bangers. B.G.'s signature has always been his flow more than his lyrics, which at times he will recycle. The biggest assisting factor, are the guest appearances, as well as the production which is has some N.O. bounce to plain good southern club beats. Backed by a major proves a good move for B.G., with better production and guests, BGizzle displays the real and shows he's still got it. A must cop by all New Orleans fans, Gizzle knows what his fans what and delivers here, despite the delay.
