It was a big day for Hip Hop and a big day for Atlanta, as star trap rappers, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane have ended their five year long fued. On air at Atlanta's Power 104, Gucci called in from prison and spoke while Jeezy was on the other line with DJ Drama. Drama mediated things between the two, explaining the importance of both artists music and their impact on the game.
The two agreed to settle the truce, Jeezy wishing Gucci well while doing his time and promising to "hold things down until you come out" and that "me and Drama are gonna hold it down." Regarding a possible collaboration, Gucci said, "We finna make a movie. You know what we about to do!"
Gucci Mane's sophomore major label release, The State Vs. Radric Davis hits stores next tuesday, December 8th. Jeezy is currently at work on his third installment of the Thug Motivation series with Thug Motivation 103 dropping sometime in 2010.
